Recognized as a leader in Pennsylvania for industrial park development, the Westmoreland County Industrial Development Corporation (WCIDC) is a non-profit corporation formed in October 1983 by the Westmoreland County Board of Commissioners. WCIDC is governed by a board of directors, which are the County Commissioners.Although the main focus of the WCIDC is the development of industrial parks, it is committed to supporting economic development efforts as the primary marketing agent for Westmoreland County.
