What is the definition of a "probable" case which are now included in our daily updates?

A probable case is a person who has symptoms of COVID-19 and was a close contact or otherwise linked to a confirmed case of COVID-19 but who did not have testing done.  A confirmed case is a person who has tested positive for COVID-19.  Both confirmed and probable cases represent the Positive Case daily update that we post.  Probable cases are not tested in an effort to preserve tests for those who are demonstrating symptoms but cannot be contact traced to a confirmed positive case.
