The PA Department of Health has not released data of recovered cases. The data of new numbers should be viewed with the realization that aside from the deaths that have resulted, there have also been recoveries.
"We are not able to track recovery of the 30,000 patients or more with COVID-19 in Pennsylvania. No state is able to do that and so we will want to track the recovery from patients in the hospital, and we’re working with an organization called PHC4 to get that data - the hospital discharge data," Dr. Levine said.
