County Seeking Applicants for Civil Engineer position

Job duties include coordinating engineering workload while supervising and directing the work of department employees as assigned, supervise Road Department crews and Park Department crews during projects in process, prepare Road and Liquid Fuels budgets and reconciliation reports, perform construction inspections, road and bridge inspections, preparing reports to summarize findings, issue highway occupancy, utility and other permits as necessary, perform all aspects of civil engineering work, prepare contract bid documents and specifications, coordinate outside funding for projects, act as an expert witness at hearings involving County roads and Public Utility Commission and coordinate the County CDL driver drug and alcohol testing program.
