Westmoreland Redevelopment Authority & Land Bank is searching for well-qualified contractors to perform roof, gutter, downspout, window and door replacement on nearly 70 homes throughout the county.
"Both larger and smaller contractors are being solicited to work on the projects; funds must be allocated by the end of next year. The money has to be spent before the end of 2026, but officials said they want the work to be finished in 2024.
“This program is essential. We want to keep people in their homes and keep these properties from being blighted. We just have a short time frame to get it done,” Redevelopment Authority Executive Director Brian Lawrence said.
