Bring the family to Northmoreland Park on September 3 & 4 for a Labor Day Celebration, featuring rides, music, food & drinks, and more!

The annual Labor United Celebration will be held at Northmoreland Park on Labor Day weekend, Sunday, September 3 and Monday, September 4, 2023. Event hours are 11:00am to 7:00pm Sunday, and 10:00am to 6:00pm Monday. There will be lots of fun things to do for the whole family: great music, delicious food, carnival rides, a one-ring Circus, games, and more! This event has free general admission and free parking.

The Labor United Celebration features musical entertainment for all ages! On Sunday, Luke Weltz will perform alternative and Indie rock at 12:00pm and 1:00pm. Part Time Cowboys will follow at 3:30pm and 4:30pm, playing favorite hit Country songs. On Monday, The Fabulous Gem Tones will headline the event, performing classic hits from the 1970s to now at 3:30pm and 4:30pm. Also performing on Monday are The Townsmen Plus One, delighting audiences with a variety of big band and jazz music at 12:00pm and 1:00pm.

There will be plenty of fun rides for kids both days. An “All Day Activity Pass” can be purchased for only four dollars, which offers unlimited use of carnival amusement rides, petting zoo, and one-ring Circus.

The Zerbini Family Circus is back again with high flying acrobatics, amazing animals, and spectacular stunts! Show times are 12:00 noon, 3:30pm, and 5:00pm each day. Audiences will be amazed at this old-fashioned, family-owned Circus show under the big top! An Activity Pass Wristband is required to enter the Circus.

Exotic Edventures brings a family-friendly show that educates and entertains visitors with presentations about rescued exotic animals. Their shows offer a fun, interactive way to inspire conservation and a love of nature in all ages! Show times are 12:30pm, 2:00pm, and 4:00pm.

Other attractions at the event include Bingo at Pavilion 8, an arts and crafts marketplace featuring over 50 exhibitors, delicious food and refreshments, and a giant flea market with over 80 vendors.

The Labor United Celebration is presented by the Labor United Celebration committee and the Westmoreland County Bureau of Parks and Recreation. Northmoreland Park is located in Allegheny Township and is accessible via State Route 356 from State Routes 56, 66 and 28.
