There will be a hearing before the Honorable Rita Donovan Hathaway, President Judge in Courtroom Number 07 of the Westmoreland County Courthouse, on the 9th day of December, 2022, at 11:30 AM regarding the Petition for the Forfeiture and Destruction of Abandoned and Confiscated Firearms and other Weapons currently in possession of the Westmoreland County Sheriff's Office.

This Notice is being posted by James Albert, the Sheriff of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania pursuant to Court Order. Notice is hereby given that these weapons have been confiscated by the Westmoreland County Sheriff's Office by Court Order: namely Protection From Abuse Orders (as well as through the course of filing criminal charges and/or executing bench warrants and other duties pertaining to civil and criminal matters) for the time period from 2016 through 2017. Accordingly, any rightful owner who objects to the forfeiture and destruction of said weapons shall appear at said time and place of hearing to be heard.
