[ARCHIVED] Regulation Suspensions

PA Department of Human Services Logo

In September 2021, Governor Wolf signed Act 73 into law, which extended many of the Department of Human Services’ (DHS) temporary regulatory suspensions through March 31, 2022, in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Yesterday, Governor Wolf signed Act 14 into law, which further extends a number of regulatory suspensions, some that are “related to federal exemptions granted under the federal public health emergency declaration.”

To view a list of suspended regulations and their current status, please visit the DHS Suspended Regulations list.

Telehealth related waivers that have been granted with an April 1, 2022 start date will be good through March 31, 2023 and DO NOT need to be resubmitted.  Should the legislation expire without another act, the waiver will be good for the remainder of the time period.
