DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Prepares and files all necessary reports. Reviews and monitors program budgets, receipts, expenditures and other departmental financial data. Assists management team with long range planning. Creates vouchers for provider payments and other various expenditures. Performs provider reviews of requests for payments and other expenditures. Monitors all contracts. Reviews cost allocation and performs cost settlement of program providers. Compares yearly audits from provider agencies against BHDS Department payment records. Meets with provider, county, state or federal government officials and representatives. Assists in year-end closing activities, including determination of provider agency accounts receivable and accounts. Assists Administrator and Department Heads in Rate Development for services provided. HealthChoices and RMTS (Random Moment Time Study) oversight and preparation - contacts with community partners.
