[ARCHIVED] New Year's Resolutions

Although the major celebration for the new year was last month, there is still time to review your New Year resolutions and see how you are doing. Typically, individuals have to start a new habit a few times before it becomes part of their regular routine. So, how are you doing on your resolution??? Perhaps you’ve stuck to your resolution and are on track. Good for you! Maybe you’ve encountered a few obstacles towards reaching your goal and you need some encouragement. That’s common. There is still time to pick yourself up and try again. There are also those who have completely abandoned their resolution. Now is the time for you to make modifications so you can reach your goal. Perhaps you set unrealistic expectations for yourself or encountered an unseen obstacle. There is still time to get “back on track”.

Each month we are given a new opportunity to begin again. Think of it as a “mini” new year. If you were not successful in January, there are eleven other opportunities to begin again. Let this year be a success for you as you strive to keep your New Year resolutions.
