The Westmoreland County EBH (Emergency Behavioral Health) Team (previously DCORT) is currently seeking a Chaplain volunteer that can assist with us getting credentialed online for CISM (Critical Incident Stress Management). The individual will be required to be dispatched or have the ability to assist us when we have an EBH call. We are looking for someone who can use his or her knowledge of faith-based, spiritual, and religious aspects to assist people after a crisis or disaster.
As our BH professionals are not versed in this area, we feel that a Chaplain would not only benefit our team, but also the communities that we serve.
EBH can deploy to:
• Disaster Recovery Centers (DRC)• Emergency Operation Centers (EOC) if asked• Community• Shelters• Schools• Accident and fire events if requested• Exercises and drills• First Responder Sup-port (Fire EMS, Police)• Anywhere a critical incident has occurred and there is a need.
To apply or inquire about this position, please contact Bobby Tanyer.
