[ARCHIVED] Individual Practitioner to Serve Burrell School District

RFP on chalkboard

For this RFP, an "individual practitioner" is any licensed individual who can provide treatment services in the home and/or school setting within the scope of his or her license.

The services would be tied directly to the awarded practitioner’s professional license and will be reimbursed as outpatient psychotherapy through the Medical Assistance HealthChoices program and other eligible private insurances. These therapeutic services will be individual outpatient psychotherapy provided to identified children and adolescents of the Burrell School District, as well as individual and family psychotherapy in the home of the child/adolescent as needed.

To ensure coordination and a holistic approach to the care of these youth, the Licensed Professional Mental Health Practitioner selected through this RFP process will also be expected to work very closely with all educational, nursing, medical, case management and psychiatric services of these students, received in and out of the school setting.

The awarded practitioner will be expected to provide therapy consistent with the child/adolescent’s psychotherapy needs and meet higher expectations for training and qualifications, which will result in the opportunity to receive an adjusted HealthChoices reimbursement rate to ensure sustainability of this new service.
