The Court of Common Pleas has developed a procedure for the presentation of a motion for release of low level adult criminal court offenders and pre-sentence incarcerated inmates having served the majority of a negotiated plea and offenders at high risk of infection or death due to exposure to COVID-19.  This procedure is being implemented in light of the pandemic and the number of petitions/requests that the criminal court of common pleas is receiving for the release of low level offenders.  Please read the procedure to follow for presenting motions.
