LABOR UNITED CELEBRATION AT NORTHMORELAND PARK, SEPTEMBER 1 & 2
The 40th annual Labor United Celebration will be held at Northmoreland Park on Labor Day weekend, Sunday, September 1 and Monday, September 2, 2019. Event hours are 11:00am to 7:00pm Sunday, and 10:00am to 6:00pm Monday. There will be lots of fun things to do for the whole family: great music, delicious food, carnival rides, a one-ring Circus, games and more! This event has free admission and free parking.
The Labor United Celebration features lively musical entertainment for all ages! On Sunday, The Townsmen Plus One will perform a variety of familiar music, from Big Band to jazz; local area musician Jessa Kenzi will be singing your favorite contemporary Country songs.
A Labor United Celebration tradition, Chuck Blasko and the Vogues will be performing their classic hits on Monday such as “Turn Around Look At Me” and “Five O’Clock World.” Also taking the stage on Monday are Thieves, performing a perfect blend of 60s, 70s, 80s, and today’s rock music!
That Guy With The Birds will be wowing crowds with his beautiful feathered friends! Sunday show times are 12:00pm, 3:00pm, and 5:00pm; Monday show times are 11:00am, 2:00pm, and 4:00pm.
There will be plenty of fun rides for kids at the celebration. An “All Day Activity Pass” can be purchased for only four dollars, which offers unlimited use of all of the carnival amusement rides, petting zoo, horse drawn trolley rides, kiddie train rides, Circus, numerous bounce houses, NERF obstacle course, and rock climbing wall.
The Zerbini Family Circus is back again with high flying acrobatics, amazing animals, and spectacular stunts! Show times are Sunday at 12:00 noon, 3:30pm, and 5:00pm, and Monday at 11:00am, 2:30pm, and 4:00pm. Audiences will be amazed at this old-fashioned, family-owned Circus show under the big top! An Activity Pass Wristband is required to enter the Circus.
Other attractions at the event include bingo, an arts and crafts marketplace featuring over 50 exhibitors, delicious food and refreshments, and a giant flea market with over 120 vendors.
The Labor United Celebration is presented by the Labor United Celebration, Inc. and the Westmoreland County Bureau of Parks and Recreation. Northmoreland Park is located in Allegheny Township and is accessible via State Route 356 from State Routes 56, 66 and 28.
