The American Red Cross put out an emergency call Tuesday for blood donors nationwide.  They are down to less than a three-day supply of most blood types.

Please note: The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive at the Westmoreland County Courthouse in the Commissioners Public Meeting Rooms from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 18. Appointments are preferred, as walk-ins typically have longer wait times. Please call 1-800-RED CROSS or visit www.redcrossblood.org and enter WESCOURT to schedule an appointment.
