[ARCHIVED] Memorial Day Ceremony to honor Sgt. Jason M McClary--May 25, 2019

At 10AM on May 25, 2019, the Kiski Valley Veterans and Patriots Association, also known by their fundraising name, PA Hero Walk, will hold a ceremony at the Allegheny Township War Memorial adjacent to Century 21. This event will be focused around bringing honor to the late Sgt. Jason M. McClary and supporting his family during their loss. Jason’s name will added to the memorial wall on that day as well presenting an HONOR and REMEMBER flag to his family.

The Kiski Valley Veterans and Patriots Association will be working with Kiski Area High School to raise money through tee shirt sales for this event. Shirts ($10 donation) may be purchased at Kiski High School, the American Legion and VFW in Vandergrift as well as at the day of the event. All money raises through tee shirt sales will be matched by PA Hero Walk and given to the family for a scholarship for the children of Lillie and Jason McClary.

There will be two guest speakers at the event and light refreshments will be provided.
