[ARCHIVED] Getting a taste of life in the National Guard in Mt. Pleasant

Latrobe Bulletin--U.S. Army gear specialist Thomas McFadden shows Zachary Coughenour of Connellsville Area High School some gear during a Pennsylvania Army National Guard public open house Wednesday at the 1st Battalion, 110th Infantry Armory in Mount Pleasant Township. In the lower photo, “Get down and give me 20!” Sgt. Evan Minaham barks orders and gives participating students a taste of military life at the open house.

 Greater Latrobe Senior High School students Lauren Sigut and Cece Daniels get a taste of the military while spending time with drill sergeant Chad Lankey. The girls plan on entering the service following graduation.
