USDA Rural Development Housing Repair Program – This program offer loans and/or grants to very-low income homeowners to repair, improve, or modernize their home, or grants for very-low income elderly homeowners (age 62+) to remove health and/or safety hazards, or remodel for accessibility for a household member with a disability. Grants up to $7500 (lifetime limit) are available for elderly households that cannot demonstrate an ability to repay a loan.
