The Westmoreland  Association of Volunteer Administrators (WAVA) are facilitating their annual Find Your FitVolunteer Fair on Friday, September 21, 2018 from 9am-noon at Westmoreland County Community College, Founder’s Hall, Youngwood, PA.  

Approximately 25 organizations that utilize volunteers will have representatives available to discuss volunteer opportunities throughout Westmoreland County. Volunteers make a huge impact in the lives of those who are in need of assistance or services. Many organizations could not do all that they do without their volunteers. “Finding Your Fit” in the community is a two-way street.  Volunteers want to do something they enjoy, while organizations are looking for someone to help them meet their mission. Many interest areas will be present at this event, including: the arts, seniors, animals, children, disaster, safety, food distribution, hospice and more. This event is free to the public.   Individuals, families and organizations or businesses are welcome.
