[ARCHIVED] WCFB Offering Summer Work Experience Through Private Industry Council


The Experience Works! Program will be operating again this summer in Westmoreland and Fayette counties. Youth are paid $9 an hour and may work up to 40 hours a week. It is a great opportunity for youth to build their resume, develop job skills and earn money. There is flexibility with schedules.


To be eligible for this program, youth ages 16-18 must be:

  • A US citizen or qualified alien
  • A resident of Westmoreland or Fayette County
  • Meet TANF Guidelines (The Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program is designed to help needy families achieve self-sufficiency.)
