[ARCHIVED] VA hospitals and clinics remain open despite government shutdown

The vast majority of VA programs, including VA health care, will not be affected during a federal government shutdown due to a budget impasse. The Veterans Health Administration, including VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, has advanced appropriations, which means we will continue to provide the health care Veterans rely on regardless of a government shutdown.
