[ARCHIVED] Help Operation Reindeer make the holidays happier

Torrance Operation Reindeer 2017

Donations Needed for Operation Reindeer!

Operation Reindeer is Mental Health America’s annual drive to provide Christmas gifts for Westmoreland County residents at Torrance State Hospital (TSH), a long term facility for psychiatric patients.

We are collecting items to help make being away from family at Christmastime easier for patients who struggle with mental illnesses.

Please drop off your donation at the following locations by

December 8, 2017 at

Step-Up Drop In Center

326 Main St.

Latrobe

or

Mental Health America of Southwestern PA

409 Coulter Ave.

All donations that are collected are sorted so that each patient receives gifts as part of the “Three Wishes” program at Torrance. The donations that are not placed in patient gift bags are sorted and given to TSH to be used for the patients all year long. Items that are not suitable for TSH patients due to safety concerns are given to Westmoreland Casemanagement Services Inc. (WCSI) and given to clients in the community.
