UPDATE: Invasive Plant Spraying in Ann Rudd Saxman Nature Park rescheduled for August 26-27

(Greensburg, PA) Due to weather and scheduling issues, the Westmoreland Conservation District has rescheduled spraying for invasive plant species in the Ann Rudd Saxman Nature Park to Saturday, August 26 and Sunday, August 27, 2017. The park will be closed to visitors those two days and will reopen August 28.

Invasive species include Privet, Oriental Honeysuckle, and Multi-flora Rose. This control is part of a Department of Conservation and Natural Resources grant that includes spraying ten acres for invasive plants, re-planting native species in Spring 2018, deer fencing, and other park improvements.
