[ARCHIVED] 2020 Farmers Market Nutritional Program

The Farmers’ Market Program, which is sponsored by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, provides eligible seniors with four $6.00 vouchers. The vouchers can be used to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables at any participating Farmer’s Market. Vouchers can be used from June 1, 2020 through November 30, 2020. The 2020 Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program provides eligible seniors with vouchers to purchase produce grown in Pennsylvania.  This program, sponsored by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture provides four $6..00 checks to be used at participating Farmer’s Markets from June 1, 2020 until November 30, 2020.  A list of participating Farmer’s Markets will be available at the sign-up sites.  

Sign-ups are being done through the mail or via email only. Walk-in’s will not be accepted. Applications can be submitted online or a printable version is available to send through the mail.

Individuals must be age 60 or older (as of December 31, 2020), a Westmoreland County resident and meet income guidelines: household of 1 $23,606 or household of 2 $31,894. There is a one-time sign-up per season.
