(S.A.F.E.) Substance Abuse Forum and Education WHERE: PENN TRAFFORD HIGH SCHOOL AUDITORIUM WHEN: TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2016 TIME: 7:00 P.M. – 8:30 P.M. In an effort to deal with the ongoing drug crisis and its effect on our youth in Westmoreland County, a panel entitled Substance Abuse Forum and Education (S.A.F.E) focuses on free drug prevention efforts in the community as well as intervention and treatment options. Once a month, the panel will convene in a local community to educate the public. The first panel will be held on September 20, 2016 at Penn Trafford High School from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30p.m. Panel members for the first panel will include Tony Marcocci, Westmoreland County Narcotic Detective; Kathy Zagorac, Penn Trafford Citizens for Drug Awareness; Julie Roebuck, Council on Substance Abuse and Youth; District Judge Helen Kistler; Sharron Prettiman, Reality Tour; John Casario, Esquire, Juvenile Court Master; Richard Billy, Juvenile Court Supervisor/Youth Commission; Joseph Litzinger, Juvenile Probation Officer; Donna Kean, St. Vincent College Prevention Projects; Tim Phillips, Director,Drug Overdose Task Force; and Honorable Michele G. Bononi, Court of Common Pleas. Each panelist will speak briefly on their roles in preventing and/or treating drug abuse. A question and answer period will immediately follow.
