[ARCHIVED] Enjoy some late-night snowy fun at the Elizabeth Anna Peach-Bolish Winter Sports Area!

Winter Sports Area

The Elizabeth Anna Peach-Bolish Winter Sports Area at the Twin Lakes Park Expansion has night lighting for sledding and tubing after dark! The area will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. These hours ONLY apply to the Winter Sports Area and lights will be on ONLY if conditions are suitable.

The Winter Sports Area consists of three sledding and tubing runs, a small covered shelter and a fire ring. There is a beginner, an intermediate, and an advanced snow run. Because this area was designed to promote health and wellness, there are no lifts to reach the top of the hill after sledding. All riders must walk back to the beginning. Sleds and tubes are not provided at the site. This is a non-supervised facility, and snow tubing and sledding are AT YOUR OWN RISK.

The Elizabeth Anna Peach-Bolish Winter Sports Area at Twin Lakes is located just east of Greensburg, and is accessible via Donohoe Road from Route 30. Coming from the west on Donohoe Road, turn left on George’s Station Road. Then make a right onto Street Park Loop. The sledding runs are just past the new Accessible Playground and Peach Plaza Skate Park. For more information, please visit the Winter Sports Area featured site page.
