[ARCHIVED] Register now for the March for Parks!

March for Parks team

What is the March for Parks? The March for Parks is an event to raise money for park and trail projects in Westmoreland County. Marchers can raise money individually or as a team of three or more people. Organize friends and family, coworkers, and churchgoers, and march for your company, school, community organization, or in memory of a loved one. You do not have to be on a team to participate; individuals who raise $25 or more will receive a March for Parks t-shirt, and those who raise over $150 will receive a gift card. The more you raise, the more your gift card will be worth! Gift Cards and T-Shirts are based on INDIVIDUAL contributions. If you have raised team money and wish to have it credited accordingly, please fill out a contribution form for each team member!

Where does the money go? You can designate your funds raised to these exciting new projects in our County Parks and Trails: Cedar Creek Park: Dog Park, Winter Sports Area, Accessible Playground, and R.C. Model Airfield improvements; Mammoth Park: Giant Slide upgrade, Disc Golf Course, Tennis Court and Dek Hockey Court renovations; Turtle Creek Extension of the Westmoreland Heritage Trail: Construction of 5.6 miles from Murrysville to Export and bridge renovations along the trail; Northmoreland Park: BMX Track lighting and athletic field improvements; ALL PARKS: Improvements to restrooms, parking lots, roads, walkways, and other support facilities; or wherever most needed.
