Sutersville Borough will receive the FEMA Mitigation Project funded generator this Saturday after fulfilling the project opportunity requirements set forth from the Presidential declared disaster of Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee. Borough officials including Sutersville Fire Department will be on hand to view the 175kW generator that has been distributed through PEMA Hazard Mitigation office. This generator is also available to other municipalities that are willing to participate and install a switch to handle the generator. This will be a shared endeavor for areas identified throughout the County that may need emergency power for their emergency operations centers.
