Labor United Celebration

Northmoreland Park hosts the 36th annual Labor United Celebration on Labor Day weekend, Sunday, September 6 and Monday, September 7, from 11:00am to 7:00pm each day. This event has free admission, free parking and free entertainment for all ages!

The Labor United Celebration features lively musical entertainment for the whole family! On Sunday, the kickin’ Country band On The Ridge will perform from 11:30am to 1:00pm, and Elvis Lives! will pay tribute to The King at 1:45pm and 2:45pm. Also taking the stage on Sunday, The Good Guys band will perform classic Rock ‘n Roll hits at 4:30pm and 5:45pm. Monday’s entertainment features musical theater group The North Star Kids from 1:00pm to 2:00pm and Chuck Blasko and the Vogues will perform at 4:00pm and 5:30pm.

The Alain Zerbini Circus will have performances on both Sunday and Monday at 12:00 noon, 3:30pm, and 5:00pm. Some of the acts featured will include clowns, jugglers, aerialists, and performing animals. The circus shows are offered free of charge!

Also featured is That Guy With The Birds, who will be wowing crowds with his beautiful feathered friends at noon, 3:00pm and 5:00pm both days.

Pittsburgh Pirates alumni will be on hand for autograph sessions from 4:00pm to 6:00pm both days. Stop by to see Omar Moreno on Sunday from 4-6pm, and Elroy Face on Monday from 4-6pm.

Visitors can purchase an “All Day Ride Pass” for only three dollars, which offers unlimited use of all of the carnival rides, pony rides, petting zoo, horse drawn trolley rides, and kiddie train rides.

Other attractions at the event include bingo, an Arts and Crafts Show featuring over 50 exhibitors, demonstrations by the Westmoreland BMX Association, chainsaw carvings, and a giant flea market with over 120 vendors.
