The Westmoreland County Area Agency on Aging extends an invitation to you to attend our monthly Caregiver Support Group Meeting on Wednesday, July 8, 2015. The meeting will be held in the first floor conference room from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at our office which is located in the Troutman Building, 200 S. Main Street, Greensburg, PA. This support group provides an opportunity for caregivers to discuss their concerns, share their experiences and gain support and information from other caregivers.

This meeting will have a guest speaker, Chris Daugherty from Rampart Security Systems who will speak from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Rampart’s Independent Living Systems focus on making it possible for seniors and the disabled to remain at home – safe and comfortable. Due to drastic increases in health care facility costs, home automation is becoming a viable option for seniors and people with physical disabilities who would prefer to stay in the comfort of their own homes rather than move to an assisted-living facility.
