As part of Act 2 and Act 184 of the Pennsylvania Small Games of Chance Amendment, organizations that hold these small games of chance licenses are required to donate at least 70% of their proceeds for public interest purposes.
CASA of Westmoreland is a registered 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization and could be the recipient of these charitable funds - ask your club if they've made their gift yet.
All contributions to CASA of Westmoreland, Inc. go towards providing a voice in the courts on behalf of abused and neglected children in Westmoreland County. CASA assists the courts to ensure the child's placement in a safe, permanent and nurturing home. That means your dollars make a positive impact right her in our local communities!
As a club member, you can be a great endorser for CASA and suggest where the organization's charitable gifts should be granted. Many thanks to the Hempfield Hunt Club, the first social club to make a gift in 2013! CASA of Westmoreland also welcomes the opportunity to be a guest speaker at your organization so that they can learn more about the much needed work of our volunteer advocates.
