Open letter to the people of Westmoreland County:

Thank you for your support and encouragement during the last 4 years. Although I am disappointed in not being able to continue my service as a Westmoreland County Commissioner for another term, I have no regrets. I have met a lot of great people and have shared some wonderful experiences that have given me a better understanding of county government and the role it plays in each of our lives.

I am proud of the work that was accomplished and look forward to my renewed role as a fellow constituent of Westmoreland County. My wish for the next Board of Commissioners would be that they make their decisions while never forgetting that their service is first and foremost, a calling to serve the best interests of all those who live in Westmoreland County. I pray that they will make correct choices that will continue to make Westmoreland County one of the best places to live and work in Western Pennsylvania.

As of January 1, 2016, my staff and I will exit our current roles in county government. Thank you for the past 4 years and it has been an honor working alongside you to make Westmoreland County the best it can be.

All my best,
Tyler
