Cedar Creek Trekker Campground for trail users

This camping site is for families or individuals that are traveling on the Great Allegheny Passage or Youghiogheny River that wish to camp overnight; no other camping is permitted!

The Trekker Campground is on a first come, first serve basis and is free for trail users only. There is a two night maximum stay. The site contains several campsites with a table and fire ring in each. There are no shower facilities, but potable water is available.

If you are using the trail and wish to leave your car overnight at Cedar Creek Park, you must stop by the registration kiosk, located where the main road crosses the trail. Fill out a registration form and drop it in the box; this will alert park staff that you are on the trail and how long your car will remain on-site. Please be aware that park gates are locked at night; you may not trespass into the park after the main gates are locked. Motorized and Pull-Behind RVs are NOT permitted!

All Westmoreland County Rules and Ordinances apply to the Trekker Campground.
