Cedar Creek Park Construction - 2019
We are continuing the Cedar Creek Park Rehabilitation Project with Phase II to take place in 2019. This Phase will involve the area of the park around Pavilions 1, 2, 3, and 16. The Phase II project includes the installation of a Universally Accessible Destination Playground between Pavilions 1 and 16, the construction of a winter sports tubing and sledding area below Monarch Center, new parking and walkways around Pavilion 16, and the renovation of three restrooms that serve pavilions 1,2,3,9 and 16.

To accommodate construction we are not renting certain pavilions at various times as follows:

  • Pavilion 16 – will not be available for rental from August 12 to December 31, 2019
  • Pavilion 1 will not be available for rental Monday through Thursday from August 12 to December 31, 2019.
  • Pavilions 1,2,3 and 9 will not be available for rental from October 1 to December 31, 2019

We plan to have construction completed by December 31, 2019. The new facilities will be open for use in 2020.
