Centrally located on 330 acres near the county's New Stanton transportation hub, RIDC Westmoreland Innovation Center offers high-quality, immediately available space only 35-40 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. This former home to both Volkswagen and Sony has been transitioned into a 2.8 million-SF multi-tenant facility that offers high-tech flex, manufacturing and office space. The Innovation Center boasts heavy power and utility capacity, functional space geometry, ample parking and direct rail access. A regional center for value-added manufacturing, it's a natural fit for a multitude of uses — such as industrial, manufacturing, natural gas supply chain, agricultural, educational, research and development, as well as computer operation-type centers.

More Than 700,000 SF of Contiguous Space Available

The Innovation Center currently has available more than 1 million SF of clean, quality space with heavy utility capacity. It has flex/manufacturing suites ranging from 97,242 to 260,000 SF — including 700,000 SF of contiguous space. The two-story building also features approximately 95,000 SF of efficient, high-quality office space, which can be leased separate from or in conjunction with industrial space.

A Rail Site With a Long Reach

In addition to quick access to I-70 and the PA Turnpike, RIDC Wesmtoreland Innovation Center is connected via a rail spur to Southwest Pennsylvania Railroad's main line. To the north, the main line links in with the SWP Conrail/Norfolk Southern main line near Greensburg. To the south, it connects with the CSX main line near Connellsville. These connections can take freight all across the continent — whether it be to to the east and west coast ports of Halifax and Vancouver (and all point in between) via the Canadian National Railroad or south to New Orleans and the Gulf of Mexico via CN-IC Railroad.
