The Latest Trend in Industrial Park Development
Westmoreland County's industrial park system currently has two parks with available pad-ready sites that enable businesses to act quickly when building new facilities.
Westmoreland Distribution Park — part of a regional employment center that surrounds the multi-tenant RIDC Westmoreland Innovation Center — has pad sites of 6.14 and 8.24 acres. Given that several pad sites have recently sold in the parks surrounding RIDC Westmoreland Innovational Center, the WCIDC is working to develop more pad-ready sites at Distribution Park North.
Located at the Waltz Mill interchange of Interstate 70 and offering rail-spur access, Commerce Crossing at Westmoreland was designed to meet the needs of businesses that seek transportation options. The park currently has two lots available, with pad sizes of 9.8 and 25.65 acres. Both lots can be connected to rail.
