Medical Assistance | Benefits: Payment of Medicare premiums, payment of Medicare Part A and B deductibles and coinsurances, full paid medical benefits including prescriptions, doctor or clinic visits, dental and eye care and hospitalization. |

Specified Low Income Medicare Beneficiary Program (SLMB) | Benefits: Payment of Medicare Part B monthly premium. Income guidelines based on 110% of national poverty level. |
QI-1 | Pays Medicare Part B premium. For income eligibility requirements, please contact your local Department of Public Welfare (DPW). |
HealthChoices | Coverage for medical expenses varies according to your particular situation. Contact DPW for more information. |
Energy Assistance | Financial assistance to lower income households towards winter heating fuel who meet income guidelines. Eligible applicants of the previous year's program automatically receive applications in the mail. New applicants can call 724-832-5524 for more information. |

Social Security |

Dollar Energy | Financial assistance with heating bills. Must have applied for energy assistance within the past year and made a sincere effort to make a payment on a utility bill within the past six months. For information, call 1-800-222-8848. |
Telephone Discounts | Lifeline and Link-Up provide individuals with low income discount programs on basic monthly services for their phone. Link-Up America offers a 50% reduction in the cost of the connection charge. If you are interested, call 1-800-660-2215, Monday through Friday, 8am-6pm. |
