How much does the Dom Care resident pay the Home Provider? |
The Dom Care residents enter into a contract to pay the Home Provider on a monthly basis. The Pennsylvania Department of Aging is responsible for determining the monthly amount. Contact the Area Agency on Aging for the current monthly payment rate. There is assistance to help eligible individuals pay for their stay in a Dom Care Home. The state will provide financial supplementation to persons receiving Supplemental Security Income who qualify to live in a certified home. An individual receiving monthly social security or pension payments may also be eligible for the Dom Care supplement provided the combined monthly income amount does not exceed the limit established by the Social Security Administration.
