Employment with the Westmoreland County Area Agency on Aging follows both the regulations of the State Civil Service Commission (SCSC) and the rules of Westmoreland County.

The following SCSC job titles are entry level employment positions with our Agency.

  • Aging Case Aides-(Local Government) #2010-017
  • Clerk Typist Positions-(Local Government) #2005-568
  • Entry Level Clerical Positions-(Local Government) #2006-820

Positions & Applications Online

On the SCSC website review the job announcement(s) for each position. Please review the job announcement carefully to ensure you meet the minimum requirements of the position(s). State Civil Service testing is required. Application(s) for testing can be completed via the Internet. The Internet process is the most expeditious; however, you may request a hard copy of the application form from the Agency. An application must be completed for each job announcement. If an announcement indicates I and II positions, only one application is required for that announcement. You must, however, list both I and II when completing the application.
