Foster Care (Resource Homes)

Safe havens for neglected or abused children

The Westmoreland County Children's Bureau (WCCB) provides for the safety and welfare of children in this county. If families develop serious problems and children are being neglected, abused or emotionally rejected, our role is to provide substitute family care, temporarily or permanently.

What these children need:
• The essentials: food, shelter and a nurturing environment
• Structure: so they have stability in their lives
• Role Models: so they learn appropriate behavior and socialization skills

If you're good at raising children...if you want to help a child in need…if you feel as though this is something that you can do—please contact us.
