Since the County's comprehensive plan, Reimagining Our Westmoreland, was adopted in December 2018, a lot has happened. We have received close to 50 resolutions of support from Westmoreland County municipalities, local businesses and nonprofits, and other organizations; we have identified nearly 20 partner organizations as Strategy Champions, taking the lead on key actions within the plan’s strategies; and together, we have made progress on all 38 strategies identified in Reimagining Our Westmoreland over the past three years.

The Comprehensive Plan Annual Report is intended to provide a brief summary of the work that has occurred over the last year. Although many partner organizations are recognized and a number of updates are provided within the report, it is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all entities or implementation efforts.
