Westmoreland County Providers and Stakeholders,
Beginning on June 11, 2020, we will be meeting by teleconference on a monthly basis, rather than on a weekly basis. The target audience is providers, stakeholders, consumers, advocates, County employees, community leaders or anyone interested in human services. The goal is to continue to keep you as informed as possible and to allow for you to express your concerns and give you an opportunity to ask questions.
Our calls will be held the second Thursday of each month thru August, at 8 a.m. The dates are June 11, July 9, and August 13.
We are doing this in partnership with Alyssa Cholodofsky from the United Way and Phil Koch from the Community Foundation of Westmoreland County (CFWC) and the Pittsburgh Foundation.
On a regular basis, you will be able to hear from:
Phil Koch, Executive Director, CFWC
Alyssa Cholodofsky, Executive Director, United Way of Westmoreland County
Dirk Matson, Administrator, Westmoreland County Behavioral Health/Developmental Services/Early Intervention
Bud Mertz, Director, Westmoreland County Public Safety
Dr. Carol Fox, Medical Director, Excela Health
Dr. Jason Conway, Executive Director, Westmoreland County Intermediate Unit
Jennifer Miller, CEO, Westmoreland County Foodbank
Debra Thackrah, Executive Director, Feeding the Spirit
Dan Carney, Executive Director, Union Mission
You will also be able to hear from numerous other invited panelists each month.
You will need to re-register for the teleconference calls this summer, even though you were registered for the calls in April and May. You will not be automatically registered for the summer teleconference calls. The link to register is:
Once you are registered, you will receive an email from the Pittsburgh Foundation with a link to the phone number to connect you to the teleconference. You only need to register once for all three dates.
