Video Visitation
All inmates of the Westmoreland County Prison will be entitled to one (1) regular visit per week. All rules regarding regular visits will remain in effect. All regular visiting hours will remain the same. The only change to regular visiting is that you will only be entitled to one (1) regular visit instead of three (3) visits per week.
If you seek additional visits you will be permitted to have three (3) additional video visits per week. For those inmates who have not been classified (H unit), on protective custody, administrative custody, suicide watch, medical unit (G unit) or in disciplinary segregation (E unit), you will not have access to video visiting.
Video visits will be held seven days a week at the following times on the following units:(A,B,C,D,F,J,K and L).

The cost for the video visiting is $ 15.00 dollars per visit for a twenty-five (25) minute visit. Your family/friends will be able to contact GTL VisitMe to schedule your video visit. Your video visit must be scheduled at least one (1) day in advance and may be scheduled as far as seven (7) days in advance. The video visiting unit when not in use will display the inmates who have a visit and the scheduled time of the visit. It is the inmate’s responsibility to view the visiting unit to see if he/she has a scheduled visit. It is important to note that all video visits are recorded.
All visitors and inmates will abide by the rules set forth for video visiting. Exposing of any part of the body, which is normally covered by clothing is grounds for the immediate termination of your video visitation and loss of your video visiting privileges. Your video visit will be terminated if you are not wearing appropriate clothing. The clothing requirements for video visitors shall include but is not limited to the following:
Inappropriate gestures and language are also grounds for the immediate termination of your video visit.
Video visits may be cancelled if done so within forty-eight (48) hours in advance of the scheduled visit. A 100% refund will be given for those who comply. Any visit cancelled after forty-eight (48) hours will not be entitled to any refund. Any visit stopped due to inappropriate behavior, inappropriate dress or other policy violations will result in no refund being given. For those visits stopped by prison staff, full refunds will be given except if the visit was terminated due to policy violations.
