The vision of the Murrysville Parks and Recreation Department is to create a sense of community and improve our residents’ quality of life by developing and supporting varied recreational and educational opportunities for the citizens of Murrysville.
Penn Trafford Area Recreation
The Penn Trafford Area Recreation Commission is a nonprofit, intergovernmental organization providing residents of the Penn Trafford School District with the opportunity for life-long learning, fitness and fun through the implementation of wholesome, affordable recreational activities and development of safe, appealing facilities. PTARC offers classes, programs and events for babies through Seniors with year round activities.

North Huntingdon Township Parks and Recreation
The North Huntingdon Township parks and recreation staff is responsible for the day to day operations of facilities, grounds and maintenance to 11 parks, 7 athletic fields, 14 pavilions and public restrooms. Their mission is to be recognized as a healthful benefit to the community by providing first rate facilities, special events and recreational activities throughout the year, while upholding a standard of integrity that will make all residents proud to call North Huntingdon home.

The Westmoreland County Bureau of Parks and Recreation maintains ten parks and five trails, designed to provide visitors with a variety of benefits and experiences.
