This program provides juvenile offenders the opportunity to perform work without pay for the benefit of their community and it has proven to be beneficial to the juvenile offenders and to the community. The
Community Service program is fiscally sound, yet responsive to the needs of the clients. It provides needed services to non-profit organizations and local governmental agencies within the community where the juvenile lives and commits the offense. It furnishes a tangible consequence to probation, and a possible alternative to restitution and fines. All juveniles must be Court Ordered into this program.
