  • 1992: Community Service Work Unit. Awarded the "Community Service Award" in recognition of outstanding Volunteer Service and Dedication in the Criminal Justice System.
  • 1989:Douglas Angelo, Outstanding Professional of the Year award from the Pennsylvania Association of Probation, Parole and Corrections.
  • 1985: The Youth Commission Program was presented an achievement award by the National Association of Counties.
  • 1984: The Youth Commission Program was named "Most Outstanding Volunteer Program in the Juvenile Courts of America" by the National Council of Juvenile and Family Courts of America.
  • 1983: The Juvenile Court Judges' Commission named the Youth Commission program "Juvenile Court Program of the Year".
