Delinquent Taxes

The Tax Claim Bureau collects delinquent real estate tax for all 65 districts in Westmoreland County.

An Agreement is available to those who have two-year delinquent taxes on their residences. Agreements are accepted May 1 to the date of the Annual Sale in September. To qualify for an agreement contact the Tax Claim Bureau at 724-830-3428.

Lien Certificates

The Tax Claim Bureau provides lien certifications which are a means of determining whether taxes are owed or have been paid for prior years. The in-office cost for a lien certification is $15 per parcel or you may purchase and print a lien certificate on-line for $18.00
