Medicaid Waiver

A Federal program that allows states to use Medicaid funds to provide home and community-based services as an alternative to service provided in an Intermittent Care Facility/Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/ID) . Selected Federal program and funding rules are waived by the Federal government in turn for specific state assurances to protect individual health and safety and to assure quality and financial accountability.

The four waivers offered by ODP are the Community Living Waiver, the Adult Autism Waiver, the Consolidated Waiver and the Person/Family Directed Support (P/FDS) Waiver. To find our more information on each of these waivers, please see the following:
