It is the mission of the Westmoreland County Regional Youth Services Center to provide temporary secure care, while minimizing the negative effects of confinement for alleged delinquent or adjudicated delinquent juveniles awaiting disposition of the Court when there is a clear and convincing need to protect the community and when remaining with parents or placement in shelter care is inappropriate.
