The mission of the Westmoreland County Controller's Office is to provide independent oversight of the financial affairs of Westmoreland County as prescribed by law and regulation with the aim of promoting accountability and efficiency in our fiscal operations and doing so with a spirit of "full disclosure".

 

The Office of the Controller carries out its mission through five discrete departmental units: Administrative, Accounts Payable/Contract Compliance, General Accounting, Payroll/Retirement and Internal Auditing

 

Our objective is to service our "customers" (the public, vendors, auditees, county departments and employees) pleasantly and professionally.
